About Gallery East

Gallery East is an artist-run space. It has a shop front window, natural light and adjustable track lighting. There is an exhibition fee for a one or two week period. A deposit is required to secure booking.

The gallery does not charge a commission.

Artists are responsible for supervising their own exhibition, organising their mailing list, invitations and opening costs.

Gallery hours and opening

Recommended exhibition period is two weeks.
Hang: Tuesday - Wednesday
Openings: Thursday 6 - 8pm
Recommended Hours: 11 - 6pm, Thursday - Sunday

Artists are asked to submit slides or photographs of work and a C.V.
Bookings can be made when at least half of the exhibition is completed.

I live in the residence, and can assist in planning for the opening event, mail outs, printing invitations and publicity. I will do all I can to make your exhibition a success.
